HEALTH GUARANTEE

At Supreme Class K9 we pride ourselves in ensuring we provide award winning bloodlines with guaranteed health. Every Supreme Class K9 parent dog is fully evaluated and passed a rigorous selection process before we commit to a breeding. This selection process allows for us to create the healthiest breed and most authentic gene pool for our program. All of our adult dogs and puppies receive the highest quality feed and supplements to ensure immaculate health.

We know the health of your puppy is a major concern for anyone considering purchasing one of our pups. Every puppy is given a thorough health exam by a veterinarian after birth. We work closely with our veterinarians and follow their protocol regarding vaccinations and de-worming. Before we allow anyone in our home near puppies, we require them to wear protective foot coverings to ensure no outside viruses or germs are tracked in to the puppy's environment. A few days before going to their new home our veterinarian will examine your puppy. We will give the new puppy parents a veterinarian report along with all the health and shot records for their puppy. Your new puppy will need follow-up vaccinations so it's important to show your veterinarian the health and shot records so they can continue the puppy's vaccine schedule.

    Replacement Policy

    Vet Bills
Buyer understands that seller is not responsible for any vet bills at any time following the completion of the sale. Any exam performed by a vet belonging to the Banfield network (Petsmart/Petco) will VOID this guarantee in its entirety due to their continued reputation of financial abuse of new puppy owners and misdiagnosis.

    Stress Related Illness
Buyer also understands Coccidia and/or Giardia, Kennel Cough, Pneumonia, Hypoglycemia and/or other stress related illnesses have a small likelihood to occur post purchase from the stress of the changing conditions such as the move or flight from my facility. The buyer is solely responsible for any vet bills incurred as a result. Again, puppies will be properly assessed on the appropriate age and method of transportation following clearance from our veterinarian.

    Parvo
I understand I should not take my puppy anywhere they could come in contact with, or where unvaccinated dogs may have been until 2 weeks after his/her 4 month booster is completed as this could transmit Parvo to my puppy. Areas of potential contact with parvo are but not limited to:

    - Areas where dogs are walked
    - Dog parks
    - Pet stores
    - Vet clinic floors
    - Parking lots
    - Near the feces of other dogs

I understand that puppies could develop Parvo, which can be a deadly/ disease. I understand this puppy has been vaccinated for Parvo and every measure taken to protect my puppy from this virus. I understand that my puppy can still contract parvo from public areas and if this puppy contracts Parvo, the seller is not responsible for any vet bills or death of puppy resulting from said disease.

    Continued Veterinarian Care
Buyer understands the puppy has received proper vaccinations and all de-worming’s are up to date as of the date the buyer took possession of the puppy. The buyer understands they must continue to have puppy seen by a licensed veterinarian at the proper intervals throughout the first year of life to maintain the dog’s health. Buyer agrees to keep dog up-to-date on all vaccinations recommended by their vet during the first year. If buyer does not continue veterinarian care at necessary intervals during the first year of life to insure dog’s health, including necessary vaccinations, the health guarantee is null and void.

What is NOT Covered by the Health Guarantee
This guarantee DOES NOT cover what in some breeds is considered normal: cherry eye, entropion, "loose" hips, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, teeth alignment, bite alignment, anything cosmetic, coat texture, size of dog, training abilities, temperament, poison ingested, biting of electrical cords, consumption of prescription or non-prescription drugs, toxic plants, vitamins or ingestion of any substance toxic to animals including food poisoning and eating of bones. Any physical problem, which is or could be the result of injury, is not covered under this guarantee. The parentage/pedigree is correct to the best of the Seller’s knowledge. The buyer agrees not to hold Seller responsible in any manner in the unlikely event that a problem might arise from the puppy’s parentage/pedigree. There is no guarantee or warranty that the Buyer will be able to show or breed the puppy regardless of show or breeding potentials. There will be no replacement puppy if a death was the result of abuse, neglect or accident, i.e., lawn chemicals can cause seizures in puppies. Submissive wetting, and/or behavioral problems and house training abilities, are not covered by this guarantee. Responsibility of the buyer is to train and socialize the puppy and this responsibility starts the moment the puppy is in your possession. There is no guarantee the puppy will reach an estimated size as an adult dog. If buyers or seller’s veterinarian determines that sickness or death was caused by a hypoglycemic attack brought on by lack of proper care then no replacement puppy will be given.

What IS Covered by Health Guarantee
Buyer understands that this puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against a fatal life altering congenital disease adversely affecting the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening nature.

Procedures if dog is diagnosed with a congenital or genetic defect during the first year of life.
A puppy diagnosed by a veterinarian with any serious life altering genetic or congenital defect in the first year of life will be replaced as follows: The defect must be documented by a licensed veterinarian on or before one year birth date. Seller must be notified of the problem within 3 business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination. The buyer must provide the report from their veterinarian to the seller stating the problem. Upon receipt of the report seller at their discretion can have sellers veterinarian review the assessment of buyers veterinarian.

Upon determination that the dog does qualify under the conditions of the replacement guarantee the seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. A puppy with a qualified defect must be returned at Buyer’s expense to the seller or with the prior permission of the seller, be euthanized to qualify for a replacement puppy. This guarantee applies to the original owner of the puppy only and is not transferable to a second party. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without the seller’s permission. In the event of death of a puppy, an autopsy report shall be performed at buyer's expense to determine the congenital defect if any and cause of death. The report must be provided before a replacement puppy is given. The seller is not responsible for any veterinarian charges or fees in diagnosing or treating any illness or genetic defect. The replacement puppy will be provided by seller out of the next available litter. The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties. It is understood and agreed that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of original puppy.

Environmental Factors Not covered in replacement Guarantee
There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, idiopathic seizures and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.

    Re-Homing
Buyer understands that if he/she is no longer able to care for the puppy/dog, you have the option to return it to seller. Seller will then screen for a potential good home for the dog/puppy and buyer will be paid back for the highest price able to re-home puppy/dog minus a $10 dollar boarding fee to the seller. Please make sure you know you are not allergic before taking your puppy home as this is very hard on the family and the puppy being re-homed. No other expenses like food, veterinarian care, or transportation/shipping charges prior to return of the puppy to seller will be refunded to buyer from seller.

This contract supersedes any and all previous agreements. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. This contract is written for the protection of the seller, the buyer, and the puppy. To the best of the seller’s knowledge the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. Buyer agrees that he/she has read and understands this contract fully.
